We are only taking applications from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties Florida


Applicants need to complete an application (3 ways below) and submit it along with a letter from their doctor. These documents should be mailed to Service Dog University, Inc. at P.O. Box 37157, Pensacola, FL 32526 or emailed to Our board will review all applications at our monthly meeting. Potential clients will then be contacted to set up an interview. If applicants already have a dog they hope to train as their service dog, we will need to evaluate it for temperament and aptitude. We would do this at the time of the interview. There is a $50.00 nonrefundable charge for this evaluation. At the next monthly meeting the board will hear recommendations from the interviewers and vote on who to accept into our program. The cost to our agency to train each dog is between $16,000 and $20,000. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity. We rely on donations, sponsors and grants for funding. We ask clients to donate what they can and, if possible, participate in fundraising to help cover the cost of training their dog
